IMPACT SOUGHT TO BE ACHIEVED
After a prolonged period of work, in these villages “drop-.out rate ” among the school going children would be greatly reduced. Through “mentoring centres” about 200 children would be directly motivated to pursue their education. Through financial assistance at least ten to twenty youth every year from each village would pursue higher (college professionals) studies. Through “HIV AIDS campaign” in a planned phase spread of HIV AIDS could be stopped and awareness among the population of low people in both the villages could be achieved. Prevelance and incidence of STD HIV AIDS cases in the villages would be brought down to zero. By promoting “safe sex” among high-risk groups, in the village as well as among students, “stigma” towards the disease can be fought. By involving the community for all the programmes of the organization, the community would become totally self reliant.
In a way the “quality of life” of the villagers would be improved.
