Profile Of The Trust

The Nest is a registered trust which was established in 2006. It was out of deep and abiding concern for marginalized and exploited families living with HIV/AIDS (PLHAs) and women in difficult circumstances, among the rural masses in India, that the trust came into existence. The focus was on providing care and support of PLHAs in a holistic manner, there by safeguarding their children from the spread of HIV/AIDS and simultaneously to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS by systematically working with high risk groups such as marginalized women, commercial sex workers and their clients and certain other target groups with the ultimate aim of empowering them.

The trust also has a broader goal to disseminate knowledge, and bring light through education to the rural masses, in order to change the attitude and belief of rural people for betterment in their life and living conditions.
